  1. "The Load-Out" is a heartfelt tribute to the roadies who set up and take down the stage set for concert performers. "Stay" functions as an encore. The two songs were played together by most radio stations as a medley even though they were not released together on a single originally. The song "Rosie" was the original B-side to the "Stay" single.

  7. Sep 01,  · Back in the day, Top 40 radio played "Stay" by itself all the time, at least where I grew up. It was released that way as the follow-up single to "Running On Empty". I never heard "The Load Out/Stay" in its complete form on the radio until years later when I started listening to AOR stations.
